AI Packs

Someone has already chosen the models for you.

The hardest part of running AI locally is not the hardware, it is deciding which of the hundreds of available models to use for what. A pack is that decision, made and tested, then installed on your machine.

Why packs exist

"Which model should I use" is the real question

New models are released constantly and most benchmarks are close to useless for deciding which one suits your actual work. We test them, pick the ones that hold up, and configure them properly. When something genuinely better arrives, the pack is updated and you get it through cato8 OS rather than starting again.

The packs

Five, and you can run more than one.

Personal

A general assistant, private document search, voice dictation and a knowledge base over your own files.

  • A capable general model
  • Document search over your folders
  • Offline dictation and transcription

Developer

Coding models, a local API endpoint that speaks the usual protocol, and tooling to manage which model is serving what.

  • Code-specialised models
  • Local API on your network
  • Model switching and management

Creator

Image generation, audio work and video tooling, all running on the machine rather than through a subscription.

  • Image generation models
  • Audio transcription and synthesis
  • Batch processing tools

Business

Company knowledge, document intelligence over your shared drives, and automation of the repetitive work.

  • Retrieval over company documents
  • Structured extraction from PDFs
  • Workflow automation

Enterprise

Everything in Business, plus the multi-user controls a regulated organisation needs around it.

  • Per-user accounts and roles
  • Exportable audit logging
  • Document-set segmentation

Packs are included with the machine, not sold separately. Which ones make sense depends on the work and on how much memory you have, and that is part of the setup conversation.

Tell us the work, not the model.

We will pick the pack, and tell you which machine it needs.
